The Rock Rodeo Series is a biweekly* open level weekend comp series at Metrorock Everett designed for open level competitors or those looking to break into the open level. The series will provide competitors with the rare opportunity to climb in the onsight 4 on 4 off format** that most open level competitions take place in. The round will be on Saturday at 3:30 pm, running until everyone has competed. Competitors will then be allowed to return to the boulders they tried and have a working session on them with the other athletes. An exceedingly rare and valuable opportunity.

Following this working session, the boulders will be changed to better accommodate the majority of our team participants. Meaning the opportunity to climb on these open level boulders will be limited to the competition.

Prizes for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Male and Female Categories, plus we’ll crown the Summer Series Champions!

Molly Beard, a USA Climbing L5 National Routesetting Chief, will be teaching a setting clinic at Metrorock Littleton! This clinic will focus on skill development for competition routesetting.

Topics include: setting efficiency, communication skills, critique skills, how to use comp skills to be a better commercial setter, and of course, lots of hands-on routesetting!

• 6 months of continuous routesetting experience REQUIRED to attend!

• Bring your own tools!

• Clinic will run from 9am to 6pm

• Class size limited to 8 people

Doors open at 9am and pricing starts at $600 for both student and adult memberships. With each purchase, the price will increase by $25 for student memberships and $50 for adult memberships. Get ready for an adventure at Gloucester's Red Rocks Conservation Area with our experienced Metrorock Climbing School Guides! This is an all-day outing from 9am to 4pm that you don't want to miss. Don't worry if you're a beginner - no prior experience is needed, but a little climbing or belaying knowledge will add to the fun.
