OVERVIEW
Metrorock’s Member Referral Punch Card Program rewards you for sharing the spirit of climbing with friends, family, and coworkers. Our members are our soul and one of our biggest advocates in growing and supporting the community. Each time someone you refer joins as a new member, you earn a punch and milestone reward. The more people you bring into the community, the more you earn!
ELIGIBILITY
Open to active Metrorock members with annual, EFT, or annual EFT memberships.
Referrals must be new members who have either never had a Metrorock membership before or who have not had an active membership at any point in the last 12 months.
To qualify as a referral, the new member must sign up for a monthly EFT membership with a minimum 3 full Calendar month commitment.
Staff, contractors, and family members of Metrorock employees are not eligible to earn referral punches unless they have active, paid memberships.
HOW IT WORKS
For each new member referral, the referring member receives one punch on their referral card.
A referral counts when the new member:
Signs up for a monthly EFT membership with a 3-month commitment.
Lists the referring member at the time of sign up
Referrals will be tracked on both a physical punch card and in an electronic punch card within the POS system. The electronic record will serve as the official record if a punch card is lost of there is any discrepancy.
Once you reach a milestone (each punch), you’ll receive the corresponding reward.
Rewards must be redeemed in person and cannot be transferred, substituted, or exchanged for cash.
LIMITATIONS
Retroactive referrals will not be honored. Both parties must complete the referral process during the new member’s signup.
Only one referring member may be listed per new member.
Each person can only be referred once ever. Once someone has been referred and joins, they cannot be referred again in the future.
Referral punches may be earned at any Metrorock location and are tracked across all gyms.
Members may only have one punch card at a time. Each punch card originates from the member’s designated home gym, but may be transferred to another Metrorock location if the member relocates or updates their home gym in the POS system. There is no limit to the number of members you can refer.
Metrorock reserves the right to verify eligibility and deny punches (retroactively if needed) if referral criteria are not met.
Metrorock reserves the right to update, modify, substitute, or replace any reward tier or prize at any time to keep the program fresh and sustainable.
Abuse of the program (such as falsifying referrals or misrepresentation) will result in disqualification.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
The referral punch card must be presented at the desk to record punches and redeem rewards.
If your physical punch card is lost or damaged, the POS record will serve as the official record of earned punches.
